1. Description:
Despite being oriented to operate on the vertical axis, vertical injection molding machines perform the same tasks as conventional horizontal machines. To meet a variety of customer needs, this type of machine is available in hydraulic, electric, and hybrid executions. Due to their orientation, vertical injection molding machines take up very little floor space. (Watch this video for a 360 view). Particularly suitable for insert molding applications are vertical injection molding machines. Before overmolding, components can be easily loaded into the mold and held there by gravity. A shuttle or rotary table is frequently included in vertical injection molding machines so that loading and demolding can occur during the machine's cycle time. (see images below).
